Description: Since 1975, Iowans have joined together to contribute their time, talent and hearts to the annual Variety Telethon. Telethon is the foundation that Variety Iowa was built upon and is the highlight of the year.
The two-day event is located at the Community Choice Credit Union in Des Moines and is broadcast live on We Are Iowa (ABC5) throughout Central Iowa. Each year, a line-up of local, national and international personalities appear along with thousands of volunteers, Very Interested Persons (VIP’s), donors and corporate sponsors.
