Most people familiar with Variety think of us for one of two things:

• The telethon held every Spring
• Our Variety coaches and minivans

But few people understand the depth or diversity of our programs.

We grant money to over 80 different Iowa charities every year.  We have programs that provide vans for organizations that need to transport children, sponsored camperships for children to attend diabetes and cancer survivor camps and build surgical suites specifically designed for tiny infant patients.

We also have a special compassion fund that helps families while their children are hospitalized.

Iowa's children need everything from specialized wheelchairs to a backpack filled with school supplies.  Our mission is to meet those needs in partnership with many of our state's finest not-for-profit organizations.
