Variety - the Children’s Charity has hired JJ Trotta to spearhead efforts in Eastern Iowa. As Variety’s Eastern Iowa Director, Trotta is responsible for fundraising, managing events and executing Variety’s programs in Eastern Iowa. Trotta works alongside a board of 21 local community leaders.
Trotta is a graduate of St. John’s University in Minnesota and holds a graduate degree from the University of Denver. Prior to joining the Variety team Trotta served as Assistant Program Director for AmeriCorps NCCC at the North Central Region Campus located in Vinton, Iowa.
Trotta and his family reside in Cedar Rapids. Trotta is an active member of Knights of Columbus, Toastmasters and the St. Pius X Elementary School Board.
