Variety - the Children’s Charity is pleased to announce the fifth annual HERO Campaign – a fundraising effort to help improve the lives of children in Eastern Iowa.
Starting today, Variety supporters, or as we call them, HEROES, will commit to raising funds to support Variety and in turn, Iowa children. Our Variety HEROES will ask friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to help them raise dollars on behalf of Variety and to make a contribution to the HERO campaign.
All dollars raised by our HEROES stays in Eastern Iowa and are allocated to Variety’s grant program. To date, Variety has granted over $8.5 million dollars to children’s organizations in Eastern Iowa.
The HERO Campaign is a four-week initiative that runs through June 9, 2018. At the conclusion of the Campaign, Variety will host HEROES with Heart - A Community Celebration. We invite the public to join us in Noelridge Park on Saturday, June 9. The HEROES with Heart celebration marks the end of the campaign and features free children's activities, face painting, traditional and specialized bike presentations, food trucks and more!

Become a HERO
Variety is asking for all you caped crusaders out there to answer the call and become a Hero for the children of Eastern Iowa. Each Hero is asked to raise a minimum of $1000. Heroes can be individuals, businesses or even a group of friends. Learn more and at varietyiowa.com.
