First Ever Eastern Iowa Stage Raises $37,000

Variety – the Children’s Charity raised $37,560 at its first ever Variety Stag event in Eastern Iowa on Thursday, September 13. More than 140 men crowded the banquet room at Cedar Ridge Winery and Distillery to enjoy a steak dinner, craft beer and spirits sampling, a stein hoisting competition and a lively auction to support Eastern Iowa children.
Variety Stag is a longstanding event in Des Moines and over the last 11 years, Variety Stag has raised $1.58 million to improve the lives of children in Iowa.
