Variety – the Children’s Charity is excited to announce we are a finalist for the Fourth Annual Gerry Rauenhorst Building Community Award and we need your help to win $65,000 to support Iowa children.

What will we do with the money?
Support Iowa kids of course! Specifically, we would use our winning donation to purchase equipment for the inclusive Variety Star Playground at Riverview Park in Des Moines. This will be Variety’s 3rd inclusive park and has some pretty amazing features (like zip lines)! Learn more about our campaign to build the Playground here.
About the Opus Foundation
In 2015, the Opus Foundation and The Opus Group launched the Gerry Rauenhorst Building Community Award to honor their founder’s legacy of giving. This award is one way The Opus Group and Foundation honor Gerry’s legacy of giving by building connections and impacting the communities in which they live, work and play.
