Telethon Spotlight Special

Variety is back and better than ever for our 49th annual Telethon campaign!

This year we will once again have a one-hour spotlight special at 7 PM on We are Iowa - Local 5, which will highlight the many ways Variety helps children and feature nonprofits that benefit from local support.

Since 1975, Iowans have joined together to contribute their time, talent, and hearts to the annual Variety Telethon. It is the foundation Variety was built upon and is the highlight of each year. Annually, thousands of individual and corporate volunteers and donors pledge their ongoing time and support to Iowa’s children.
